Seriously...I have just a few short days to clean my house and do all the laundry before the 4th of July. My BFF and I just counted and there's going to be like 23 people for our cookout.

Seriously...My BFF is thinking about starting a blog so I'm trying to convince her to do some guest post for me so that when she does start doing it she will already have a following.  So lets Seriously give her some love and encouragement!

Seriously...Why do certain people who will remain unanmed have to be raging idiots who make up the stupidest storeies ever then expect me to know what the hell is being talked about when other people mention it to me!

Seriously...My BFF's 2 boys are leaving tomorrow for like two whole weeks so visit their family and I am Seriously going to miss them so much! They are MY other children.

Monday Me Hop

 

Today I'm linking up with Cinful Cinnamon for her brand new Monday Me Hop. She's making us all think this week! Ugh, I can feel my brain starting to hurt already! lol

So what would I do differently if I knew nobody would judge me? And I can't talk about kids or marriage right? Damn, I hardly ever think about anything else. Honestly, I would love to be a writter. I've wanted to since I was a little girl but never had much confidence in my capabilities. If I wasn't so scared of what everybody would think and say, I would probably put off going back to school this fall and concentrate on trying to write. But I'd have to also get past the fear of people judging my writing and not liking it. I know that you can't please everybody but I'm not even sure if a few people would like my writing enough to actually want to spend their time and money on it.

And since I just can't help myself, I'll answer the second promt as well. There's two things that my Dad always told me when I was growing up that have always stuck with me.

1. Don't talk badly about somebody if they're not there to defend themselves.

2. Right is right, wrong is wrong.

I've tried to always live by those. You don't say things behind somebodies back and it doesn't matter who you are, if you're right I'll stand by you but if you're wrong, your on your own.

Completely disgusted with myself!

Why is it that the older we get, the harder it is to lose weight? I was always a little chunky as a kid but when I was about 16 I thinned out considerably. I was loving it. I was never rail thin skinny but I was finally slender at least. I had my first baby at 20 and immediately lost all the weight, not that I actually gained much. Now don't start booing me for that. I was young and we also didn't have a car so we walked a lot. Had the second baby a month after I turned 25, again dropped the weight fast. The third and last baby came along at 27. Once again, within a few short weeks the weight was all gone. I'm only 28 now. My baby is almost 16 months old. So why the hell do I weigh more now than I ever did when I was pregnant!? Seriously! Is this karma or something? I bounce back quickly after each birth so I have to pay for it now?! It's so not fair. I'm completely disgusted with my body! And is the hubby any help? Nope! He picks on me for being chubby now. He claims he's not picking on me, that he's doing it lovingly, to that I say WTF EVER! Yes, I have hips and curves now that I didn't have at 16, that I don't mind. But where did all this extra crap on my belly, arms and thighs come from? I looked at a picture the other day of me and baby number three when she was about a week or two old and you can't even tell I had just given birth. But when I see a picture of myself now or look in a full length mirror I find myself wondering why people aren't asking when I'm due. It's not fair, none of my clothes fit, hell I don't even know what size I wear anymore! All I can say is, God sure does have a sense of humor!

I pinky promise not to tell

Has there ever been something that you've really wanted to write about but you don't want people to judge you? I know I've had that feeling before. So, I was thinking that I could make a safe place for people to write anonymously about anything they want to. A place where no names are needed and no judgements are handed out. So if anybody is interested, I pinky promise not to tell.

Embarrassing my BFF's hubby!

I told my BFF this story and she told me I had to blog about it. It's funny, cause since I started blogging, even all of the kids tell me I should blog about things. lol

Anyways, my hubby and I sleep on a futon in the living room cause we gave the actual bedrooms to our kids. Well, my hubby and my BFF's hubby work together. He comes in the other morning and I'm still laying in bed just talking to them and trying to wake up. After a few minutes, I asked him if he would please go into the kitchen for a minute so I could put my pants on. I've never seen that man turn so red or move that fast! It was hilarious!

When I told him it was safe to come back I couldn't help laughing at him at the same time. He's like "Man, I'm kinda embarrassed now. It's a good thing I didn't sit down on the bed or anything!"  He could hardly even look at me for the rest of the day!

This happened a few days ago and he still turns beet red if I mention it!

Little Sparrow Logos and More Product Reveiw

I recently got the chance to work with  Becki from Little Sparrow Logos to make a business card design for my blog. I am more than impressed! Becki did an amazing job! There was a very simple form to fill out with the information for my card as well as anything special I may want on it. Honestly, I had never really thought about having business cards for my blog, so I didn't really know what should be on it. I was pretty vague about what I wanted and on most of it, I just told Becki to use her own judgement. She nailed it the first time! There was nothing I asked her to fix or change. And she was so quick too! I filled out the form yesterday and today she emailed me the design to look over. Way faster than I expected! Little Sparrows also does logos, watermarks, blog headers, and so much more. And her prices are very affordable! If there's anything you need done Little Sparrows is definitely the place to go!

Random Thoughts

Why is it that we do the dishes, but they always come back? And they bring their friends with them!

Every time my 7 year old daughter mouths off to me or doesn't listen, I've been making her clean something. By bedtime my house will be spotless! I wonder if that's considered child labor?

Ever notice that you can feel like you're starving half to death yet when you look for something to eat, nothing sounds good so you just walk out of the kitchen and continue to be hungry?

Why is it that I have my best ideas for blog post while I'm laying in bed trying to go to sleep, then in the morning I can't remember them?

My hubby is threatening to get a second laptop cause he says he never gets to use this one since I'm always on it. Don't tell him, but that sounds great to me! But I don't want him to know that or else he might not really do it.

I've become completely obsessed with editing pictures lately.PhotoMania, Picnik, and Photobucket are awesome!

My niece is visiting for a week or two, and she's so well behaved that I've had the urge to try and send my oldest daughter home in her place. Another bad mommy moment?

I wonder if I can beg my hubby to make me some strawberry daiquiris tonight. I could definitely use a drink or two tonight.

Ugh, time to get back to the dishes that have been having a party in my sink while my belly continues to rumble cause nothing in my house sounds good to eat. (big sigh!)

Seriously Thursday?!

 

It's that time again! "For what?" you ask? For the awesome Seriously Thursday Link up with From Mrs. to Mama 

Seriously...My head hurts so bad right now that I don't know which I feel like doing more, cry or throw up. Yet I still manage to sit here with my laptop and blog! Is that dedication or what?!

Seriously...Remember the car I was talking about that we bought from "friends"? Well, after we put about $1,200 into it, it got sent to the junk man the other day for a whopping $300! I don't remember what was wrong with it this time but the hubby said it was going to cost somewhere from $400-$600 to fix it. By this point he was just done with the damn thing. So now we're back to having no car and need to buy another one.

Seriously...Since I banished Holly from the living room and moved her bed into Hunter's room, she has slept through the night every single night! I don't know whether to be thrilled or annoyed at her that she couldn't do that before. I've been losing sleep for no reason!

Seriously...I got an email from WonderDads the other day saying that they are going to feature my blog on their site next month as one of their favorite blogs to tell your wife about! I'm Seriously excited!

What is your happiest memory? 
When we went to the beach for the first time at Deer Creek.

Why do you like being a kid?
That's a hard question. Because I get spoiled by my Daddy and gets lots of toys.

Silly

What advice would you give your parents?
I'd give them advice on how to cast a fishing pole.

If you could be any animal, which one would you be and why?
The cat we had a long time ago because it was so soft and pretty and precious and very cuddly.


What do you like to do for fun?
Annoy my parents.

What is your favorite thing to do? Why?
When I write stories because they are fun. Sometimes I want to write a chapter book.

Play tag with them.

My baby sister is cute and cuddly and has a cute laugh.

What was the nicest thing you did for someone?
When my friend at school got hurt I made them feel better. I kissed their boo boo and took them to the nurse.
