It's that time of year again for the Fall Festival in our little town. I have to say though, last year it was so much better! Granted it was only $1 each to get in and kids under 12 were free, which means all of my babies and last year I don't remember it costing anything to get in. But there just wasn't much to do this year. Except eat that is. And OMG did we eat! I don't think any of us are going to eat again for like a week. And now, everybody in my house is asleep but me...it's not even bedtime yet! I hope they all sleep through the night still.
This is only HALF of an Extreme Buckeye! Plus we had already eaten an Extreme Brownie!

Jordyn & Hunter munching on hot dogs.
This was the most HEAVENLY Apple Dumpling with ice-cream!!!!
Jordyn & Hunter in the bouncy house. Poor Holly wanted to go in too but she would have been trampled.

It looks like a wonderful time. I feel like I've been held captive for the past three months. Half past September and we have 100 degree days..no zoo, no festival, too hot and not enough rain. I'll just have to follow you and live vicariously.

I love Fall Festivals! Following you now from Monday Mingle! ~Tina @ www.mamaslikeme.com
ReplyDeleteLife after kids... does it ever end? I don't think so. Our youngest of 6 is going to be a first time daddy next month. Has life gotten any slower since they all left? Nope, if anything, it is even busier! This will be our 16 grandchild. Gramma isn't resting!

Great pictures! I love fall festivals - all that food looks divine! So jealous...
ReplyDeleteTina, I couldn't comment on your blog, but I wanted to ley you know I love your writing. And, no judging here. My son is 3 1/2 and is finally cooperating with potty training. He only uses diapers at night now. My oldest daughter is 8 and I started her potty training at 18 months and by her 2nd bday, she was done. My youngest is now 18 months and I can't imagine sitting her on a potty yet! Each child is like a beautifully wrapped present. Each a unique little surprise!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you back :)
