Little boys are a totally different speices!!!

I do not understand my 3 year old son. He does things that just completely confuse me. I'm sitting on the couch doing bloggy type stuff, my hubby is relaxing in the recliner watching tv, and Hunter has his toys spread out on the floor where he is throwing his cars. I'm starring at him wondering what in the world the point of this is. Hubby looks at him and asked him if he was blowing them up. Hunter says "yep". Only another male would be able to guess that!


All Hunter talks about is shooting bad guys or bad animals, beating up monsters, or peeing and pooping on something. As a girl, my thoughts are ewww gross! But not my hubby. He laughs and encourages this kind of talk.


The other day Hunter was standing next to the recliner where his Dad was sitting, my brother-in-law and I were sitting on the couch. We're just all talking and visiting, when out of no where Hunter says "Daddy, I'm playing with my peanut!" I think you can guess what his 'peanut" is. I'm horrified but the men are just laughing like they are so proud of his discovery.


Little boys and grown men are truly a different species. And they make me so glad that I'm a girl. Who would want to be one of these icky creatures!
